ARC Honest Review- Southern Pleasure by Kaylee Ryan 19/12/2015

Title: Southern Pleasure
Author: Kaylee Ryan

Blurb:
They tell you that a parent’s love is all consuming. I never put much thought into it. Not until the minute I heard her take her first breath. That little girl is my world. I’d do anything to protect her.

My ex signed over her rights and her family vowed that my daughter didn’t exist. Now that she’s gone, they want my little girl. They’re trying to say I can’t give her what she needs.

I’ve known Evan all my life. Our families farms run parallel with each other. He and my brother Aaron have been best friends for as long as I can remember.
What they’re trying to do is wrong. He needs my help, someone he can trust and I’m more than happy to do it. I volunteered without hesitation.

I should have thought about what it would be like to have our lives intertwined. I should have thought about what would happen when our time together ended and how my heart would feel when I had to walk away.

*MY REVIEW*
Received an arc:

This is the story of the good southern man that just happens to be charming as well. Evan Chamberlin`s life changed in one moment, when he found out he was going to be a father doing everything in hes power to make sure this baby has a happy life, feel loved and protected.  Everyone says what would you do if you had to be a single parent, but no one tells you the hardships you have to face. With no family around to support him he enlists the help of hes best friend`s sister McKinley, who has just returned home from college to start her own business.
When McKinley has to make a choice she doesn't hesitate, how will this story end and will there be a second chance at love?

Southern Pleasure is the perfect combination of a good southern charming novella mixed with drama. whats a love story without love. Kaylee Ryan has described the hardships of a single parent and the struggles it takes in raising a child as well as the parts to a parent that`s terrifying.
A beautiful tale of love, friendship, family, and life in itself.
